if they compel twitter and facebook to allow all legal speech it's just going to entrench twitter and facebook. I don't want that to happen. laws aren't going to make them become good or ethical when they are rotten to the core. I actually want people to have a reason to leave twitter and facebook and go try the fediverse instead. there is also a chance that if this comes to pass, the censors will just shift their focus on chipping away at legal speech. I don't see it going well.
