This feels like some of that ‘winning’ we were doing two years ago. I figured this would happen, but I’m sure it’s not over yet with the dems going into full blown executive order mode over the next two years. I’d like to see the budget go towards 87k people building a wall and securing the border.

This is all just posturing to get ammo for the next election. The US governmental types don't bother actually legislating anymore. They just do things with a constant eye to how they're going to win general elections. And that includes wars. This is why the country is trillions in debt.

It is dead in the Senate so it is just virtue signaling. The Republicans always act big and bad when they only control part of the government, because they know it won't go anywhere. If they control both houses of Congress, they are as meek as church mice.

Everyone can vote for something they don't want when they know there is 0% chance of anything happening. Even if they got it passed in the Senate, Biden still vetoes it and they don't have the votes to push it anyway.

Funding the IRS is a sure sign that our country is going bankrupt, it is sinking like the titanic.

When we finally erupt into fights because we all want more funding, as in today, ...

Tossing money at this problem, to fix the previous money problem they caused, was the most moronic thing ever. These decisions seem made by politicians that thinks as deeply as teenagers with a credit card.
