The shit with inflation is the same as the covid lockdowns: the people telling the rest of us to make do with less, would be the first to scream bloody murder if their own quality of life was even minutely impacted.

    I grew up on a cotton farm, money started running out around October and I remember eating biscuits fried potatoes and gravy for breakfast. We never missed a meal. The harvest season typically spans late October to late December or early January.
