Several years/months ago I was in "soft lockdown" because everyone was afraid of COVID. I had a chance to practice using git every day. I don't enjoy git much. Unfortunately everyone seems to have adopted it as a standard so it looks like I have to git gud at using git.
I like the Linux command line and git seems ok from there. I made the mistake of trying to use a Github GUI on Windows and that has become a huge distraction that saps my enthusiasm. In a perfect world I would effortlessly stumble across some lovely tutorials for git. In the real world, I can stumble across some uninspiring tutorials and try to write a better tutorial myself.
