Free Pascal and Lazarus programming

Does anyone use Free Pascal and Lazarus? It is cross-platform and based on Delphi object Pascal.

Good: The system works, is fast, and has lots of libraries.
Bad: The debug system does seem not work so well.
There are some grammar differences with Delphi.
