I'm going to start smiling to it. Then I'll smell it.

Please forgive me. I couldn't resist.

I was trying to calm my negative energy. Unfortunately, inviting nicer replacements is not as easy as one might think.

Good quote. I love Thich Nhat Hahn, his book "The heart of the buddha's teaching" is one of my favorites, I've gifted it to more than one person.

One of my favorite quotes of his is "Hold your difficult emotions like a mother holds her baby when it is crying." which is similar to your quote.

Resolving inner conflict seems to be the route to peace, and it's very hard to resolve inner conflict with increasingly intense anger. If you have a glass of muddy water, the sediment will settle to the bottom and the water will become clear, but only if you stop stirring it!

I like to find a lot to laugh about that's as good as a hug for changing the chemical reactions / hormonal reactions - which the deep state is out to Kontrol. Just listen to a cody snodgres, cia whistleblower interview or video. Here is a new one and if you like what is happening to changes in the country, you'll love/laugh with it. https://intellectualfroglegs.com/the-media-that-cried-trump/
