DeepMind research study, representative of financial collectivism, attempts to prove liberalism great, but find it is not and liberal wealth redistribution to be system breaking

Google DeepMind researchers preformed a study, seeking to enshrine liberalism and equity as good tot he general public. To do so, they used a slight bit of machine learning to evaluate a well established test of human dynamics in collectivism.

While they tried to make the results fit the goal, it clearly did not. That didn't stop Vice from publishing a story about it, exaggerating the non-result in to the craziest way possible; something about redistributing wealth good -- America bad.

Liberalism and collectivism are not the same thing. You are talking about communism/socialism, which are economic ideologies. Traditional Liberalism is a social doctrine based on Locke's contract theory, and Liberalists such as Gauthier have used game theory to show that tit-for-tat strategy results in optimal arrangements. America was founded on these very ideas of liberal theory, which gave us much greater individual freedom than Europeans who were at the mercy of the King and the Church. The actual academic theory of liberalism is much different than what people today who call themselves liberals practice. Traditional liberal theory is far closer to what you today would call libertarian than 'liberal'
