Our last good car was the early 2000s which we kept for as long as physically possible: now all the cars are made the same with the stupid center console in the middle unless you spend 50,000$ but even from what I've seen I think those rich cars still have that problem with the narrow back window and center console. It's like they all come from the same factory regardless of brand they all have a standard interior.
Those center digital consoles SUCK as it requires you to look down all the time to fiddle with basic temp control/radio where as older cars had giant knob controls you could feel without ever ONCE looking down (once you figured it out) but new cars there is touch buttons everywhere including the steering wheels themselves so you have to be careful there!.
You can hit a button on the wheel and it does something with the radio you have no idea what the hell just happened as your busy driving you cannot look. 🙃
An officer once let me look around inside his new Ford Car and it looks just like our Dodge Journey with the stupid center console and he agreed cars all look the same compared to the early 2000s which then the interiors were greatly different. Since his was a Ford I was hoping it would be different and cool:
Does your car still have the older interior looks or the modern way of everything looking the same with the stupid center console? Our last good car was the Windstar perfect for our needs and we kept it a long time in good shape avoiding getting a car as much as possible as the designs all suck regardless if your rich or poor. Sadly money won't fix this problem.
So again does your car have the boring modern look or is it an older car? If it is the latter keep it as long as you can do NOT get a new or newer used car if you can help it. Anything past 2010 sucks. 2006 cars are even questionable. Also DO NOT get a Dodge. Dodge has always had stiff brakes. We had a Colt Vista in the 90s and the brakes always 'grabbed' just like our current one.
