In May, the email service cock.li stopped open registers, and they are now doing invite only. They did so because glowies were using the service.

It is understandable why cock.li would make the switch to invite only registrations if they were facing issues with misuse. Security should always be a top priority for email providers especially given the sensitive nature of communications.
