I'd say they only care because Russia. Being a Nuclear Power with a conflict in the middle of Europe makes a pretty big difference.

Also doesn't hurt that Russia is big boogyman that Orange Man is in cahoots with.

The only reason Russia could get away with what it did in Syria was all the Arabs hating the evil west and telling them not to intervene.

If you engage your brain and remember the past back a couple of years there was just as big a push to get western military involved in Syria and lots of westerners also went over to fight on various sides as well.

But then in your post you seem not to even have noticed that Russia has been bombing Syrians into the ground for years, so maybe it's all passed you by.
