Well good.

In fact a republic basically guarantees that both parties will just be klepto-crats. The republicans aren't right wing either. They are just right wing on social issues. They don't actually value a free market or low spending.

Yeah there's plenty of RINOS in politics and I agree those RINOS and the Republicans are barely right wing economically and I also agree loads of them are only socially conservative.

They don't care about any of that crap, nor do the GOP representatives. All that social issues do is allow them to divert attention from what they're up to and keep the populace arguing over stupid shit that ultimately has no bearing on their lives. Dems are just better at it than Reps. Until now, at least. That pendulum is swinging furiously back to the right after it went way left in 2016.

Agreed. Although I don't like either party tbh.

Agreed. We need a good third option, but it's just never happened.

This does indeed seem to be the case.
'Democrats', and some others calling themselves 'the Left' (which used to more or less mean those trying to protect the people from plutocrats), have been infiltrated and compromised.
Now they seem to instead work for the plutocrats and against the people.

Lol, I see history isn't your strong point!
