Alcohol is everywhere these days, Big Business, no escaping it, and it's so gross when you're not interested in it.
All I see is a bunch of moody, unhappy, unhealthy folks, repeatedly ingesting toxins and making themselves sick, yippee!
A lot of weak and miserable drunks that are on lockdown now are even having alcohol delivered to them, because addiction is a bitch, sad stuff.

The World Health Organization estimates that alcohol kills three million people throughout the world every year.

That's 15 times more than COVID, and we haven't locked down the planet for it? /s

Although in central and South America where, due to COVID, they let women out on Mon,Wed,Fri, and men Tue,Thur,Sat, I believe they have stopped selling alcohol altogether.

While I believe drinking is a choice, those who engage in regular heavy drinking generally have underlying psychological/emotional issues. The drinking helps them not have to face their issues. While it is their issues that may compel them to drink, it is still their choice - they are not powerless.
