I'm 40. I liked Rotten and ofc know about POF and pornhub, but I don't think these sites are as universal as the author assumes. One not mentioned that I hear about on reddit was Digg. I guess for a lot of people it was their introduction to forums.

I hadn't either before I saw some redditors talking about it like it was the precursor to reddit for everyone. Like the article, some people just assume we all hung out at the same sites as they did.

Did anybody ever take the place of rotten? I'm curious- not for suicides or stupid shit- but some of those vids were pretty informative.
