A friend of mine who also works in a hospital said the same thing. He tested positive, was tested twice more and they listed all three tests as a case of covid.

Do you think she can gather proof of this?

I don't want her to lose her job, we'd be screwed if that happened.

Why do they keep testing the same person over and over?

[–]noice 6 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 0 fun7 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

They have to in order to monitor their covid status over time. Can move out of covid unit after testing negative a few times

If the are using the PCR test they retest to rule out a false positive.

[–][deleted] 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

That is a good question. I have no idea.

[–][deleted] 4 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 2 fun -  (7 children)

that's fake news but one thing that isn't is they are very worried about people going into hospitals to see if anyone is really in there, coverups show guilt. I guess they figure people will catch covid. How about letting us go in there with a big old containment suit on.

[–][deleted] 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

"to see if anyone is really in there" There are always patients in hospitals... and if you were going into a hospital for a non-covid reason you wouldn't see the ward they're keeping covid patients in anyway.

[–][deleted] 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

well they were laying people off at hospitals because they had no patients for them to care for, that made corona look like a hoax cuz you'd think they'd need all hands on deck. They need some transparency. If corona is for real then these hospitals must be packed with patients, we keep hearing how it is going thru the roof right now. And they don't have enough doctors and nurses. And are running out of beds for patients. Might be true but let's see proof. People don't trust medical community because we know they just want money, and we know media lied about WMDs. So there's a trust gap.

[–]Canbot 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

They could be short on staff at one hospital while laying off staff at another. This would be especially expected since any particularly infectious disease would show up in pockets, thus effecting individual hospitals a lot while not effecting others at all. Logically they would just send the patients to other hospitals, but for many reasons that's not happening. And since the media's agenda is to exaggerate the threat as much as possible they will straight up lie and say "hospitals are overwhelmed" and when called out on it they will just claim "we didn't lie, there are SOME hospitals that were overwhelmed".

I think the best way to explain to one of the sheep that this pandemic is a scare tactic is to point out that if it were real we would be on a hiring binge for medical workers. We would have doubled and tripled the staff by now just to have them on standby for when the shit hits the fan. The opposite is happening and that proves that the scale of the problem is utter bullshit.

"that's fake news" - Because you say so.

[–][deleted] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

show proof if it is real

[–]JasonCarswellMental Orgy 5 insightful - 2 fun5 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Show proof it isn't.

[–]Jesus 4 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 2 fun -  (6 children)

First, I don't believe you without proof. Second, all ILI's are counted as covid including 15 people that are around someone who had an influenze like illness ie. contact tracing. Plus, you don't even have to test positive or take the test to be a case.

[–][deleted] 4 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 2 fun -  (2 children)

I appreciate skepticism and I totally understand. It's just not something we could gamble with losing her career and being homeless for getting proof. So take it with a grain of salt, that's prudent. I felt it was worth mentioning. I'm not the covid skeptic some of you are but when I heard this last night I felt like y'all would want to know for whatever it's worth.

[–]Jesus 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Could you do it in a way where she would not lose her job, let's say, put it on a open source site or blockchain. Who would even know? But it's a HIPPA violation, so I understand.

COVID is being used for the 4IR agenda and if we continue to believe i nthe numbers, and do not do anything, or do what the state says, we reap what we sow.

[–]Canbot 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (2 children)

So you don't believe this reasonable claim that follows the logic: positive cases are counted on the basis of how many tests are positive and some people are tested many times resulting in many positive tests. Which just makes sense. Yet you believe some retarded claim that contact tracing is being used to out right lie about the numbers?!! This is too fucking stupid to be real. Of all the evidence that you are a shill this takes the cake. Literally attacking sound arguments and inserting retarded ones.

[–]Jesus 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

No, I need proof. Contact tracing is inflating the numbers as you do not have to test positive to be a case, you just have to be around someone if you allow them to track you through bluetooth;

some people are tested many times resulting in many positive tests.

Sure, I believe it, but I don't believe OP until he provides some sort of evidence.

Of all the evidence that you are a shill this takes the cake. Literally attacking sound arguments and inserting retarded ones.

How is my argument retarded? States will count a case as someone in close proximity to someone who tested positive. They admit that.

I'm only sayin that we need proof from OP.

[–]Canbot 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

No, I need proof

Then you must have proof that contact tracing alone is being used to make claims of positive cases. Please show that proof.

They admit that.

I have never heard anyone make that claim before. Please direct me to where I can hear or see someone in charge of the official tally admit to using this tactic.

I'm only sayin that we need proof from OP.

No you aren't, you are injecting a completely absurd claim into a totally reasonable conversation while at the same time demanding unreasonable amounts of evidence. These are propaganda techniques.

yes multiple tests on the same person count as a new test. My buddies wife told me the same things.

is totally real.

Look through my post history, I'm not a covid skeptic. Treat this info as a rumor, that's prudent without proof since I can't provide any. I still feel it was worth mentioning. If they say we have 10,000 cases of positive covid tests locally and 1/3 of those are the same people, that's a rather significant difference and bears consideration if for no other reason than to get confirmation it is or isn't an issue.

I don't know what you're talking about. It's not like there's someone standing over me threatening my life if I don't say what they tell me to.

I recently heard that hospital capacities are potentially under-reported as they are trying to avoid having multiple patients in a room
