Yeah, Yugoslavia comes to mind for a more recent example.. Remember the cruise missiles against Syria https://www.theguardian.com/world/2018/apr/14/syria-air-strikes-us-uk-and-france-launch-attack-on-assad-regime

For a reason that seemed fake from the beginning then it was proven to be actually fake.

The allies were kind to Germany after the war.

Far better than they deserved or did to others themselves.

There are no good guys in war, it's war, it brings the worst out of people that would most likely be kind and generous. I have always noticed the mainstream media seem to ignore the atrocities the Bolsheviks committed to millions of native Russians.

The commies are always praised because they happened to be on the "right side of history"

When I posted about a hugely viral picture of an Australian protester's neck being stepped on, which was Reddit was oddly silent on.....I found that the comment I made giving all context to the post was silently removed.

No wonder no one upvoted the post....it became confusing and pointless without the context!

After haggling with the mods forever, we came to the conclusion that it was the Reddit Admin who surgically killed the post, by ninja-removing the comment with the context.

I later confirmed this similarly happening in several other large subreddits. The Admin had been very busy and were methodically combing comments and hiding them to manipulate posts. This dishonest manipulation was likely harder to notice that banning the post its self.
