I hate the substitution of the word “equity” for “equality.” They are different words with different meanings.

It's not a substitution. People who care about FIGHTing climate change are likely to buy this equity-based logic. People who understand things a bit better will understand this is a horrifying line of thinking for equality-lovers.

Also gender for sex.

Sex equality of opportunity is preferable to gender equity (equal outcomes for people in dresses and heels???).

women and minorities hardest hit, and we have to fix the climate because women and the poor will take it in the ass so hard if we don't. White men will be fine as always. because women and minorities are always the hardest hit. Just got keep driving it home, it's those evil white men.
