Lesbian feminists lament the fact that women-only spaces are banned in Tasmania unless dickgirls can enter. I can understand their grief, but welcome to the club dykes. There is only one space in all of Australia that is legally allowed to deny entry to women, and that is a gay male bar in Melbourne. Which for all I know could have permanently shut its doors. Hopefully not. But yes, every other space that is meant for gay men in Australia has had to allow women - including women who don’t pretend to be men - to enter for years, if not decades. And lesbian feminists did not give a shit, or even sided with the governments because those feminists care more about straight women than they do about gay men. So yeah, no sympathy from me.

Men need spaces to ourselves. I am a big proponent of spaces only for gay men, spaces only for straight men, spaces only for bi men and spaces for men of all orientations but still only for men. Gay men don’t want to be bothered by women, we want to be around other gay men. And straight men also want to be around other straight men, because they enjoy hanging out with their friends and just want to get away from the women. Nothing personal ladies, but men need to bond with each other. I also support spaces that are only for women, but until feminists leave us men the fuck alone, I’m gonna sit it out while the feminists and the troons fight.

Gay men also don't respect and invade female spaces for decades. Beauty, fashion and celebrity-gossip communities are full of feminine gay men but I don't see any women complaining about it.

Grow the fuck up.

Of course women don’t complain about it, because a lot of them love feminine gay men and let those men into their spaces. For the record, if those gay men enter uninvited into female spaces, then I will support women's causes to kick those men out of women's spaces. But it doesn’t change what I’ve said about spaces meant for gay men being taken over by women.

Trans people make up only 0.03 to 0.06% of the US population but are extremely vocal. I do not mind whatever they want to do (if it's legal) but believe they should not be allowed to perform for children.

[–]Canbot 10 insightful - 3 fun10 insightful - 2 fun11 insightful - 3 fun -  (3 children)

I think the "vocal minority" meme is propaganda that hides the fact that it's power that is pushing these politics. The people with all the power are using these "progressive" policies and politics to undermine everyone else simply because the chaos keeps people off balance and unable to address the issues of tyranny.

Yes, power, influence, and money behind all this dress-up nonsense. Meanwhile, in the US, we have a junta instead of a government. Maybe you know already but see the article I just posted.

100% this

[–][deleted] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

100% that

[–]TaseAFeminist4Jesus 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

Trans people make up only 0.03 to 0.06% of the US population

There are big problems with that number. First, there's really no such thing as "trans" beyond an acquired fetish, so calling anyone "trans" per se is inaccurate. There are people who indulge this fetish and there are people who do not, and there's an element of choice in exposing oneself to stimuli that cultivate this fetish and in then practicing it.

Second, in light of the first point, and the way gender theory is being pushed, 0.06% will soon be a radical underestimate of the people doing this crap, if it's not already.

[–][deleted] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

I believe it to be a trend. Which will end. It is a carrot or red herring, so simple-minded people have something to talk about.

Some oppose it, some take part in it. (We get all the laughs for free.)

I suppose it's easier to construct a self-image from stuff other people make up and fill your inbox with than actually searching who you really are.

Searching your own identity can be really, really hard, frustrating and painful at first when you have to realize the fact that you just don't know anything about yourself. At first.

[–]TaseAFeminist4Jesus 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Agree 100%. The only thing in question is how bad the backlash will be. These corporations that have sort of ridden the wave, willing to embrace absolutely anything for profit (no matter how destructive); the celebrities with their ridiculous claims of "queerness"; most of the Democrat party... will they be allowed to get to the end of all this and just okey-doke their way out of any retribution? I hope not, though I'm not optimistic.

[–]chottohen 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I was wondering where the numbers come from. Most fetishes are indulged behind closed curtains and that's a good place for them, I think. In this present case I see more than a fetish; I see exhibitionism, delusions of grandeur, and a strong desire to groom children in one's image. It's the later that bothers me most. When I see, on video, a few hundred of these people screaming, "Trans women are women," I wonder: are they trying to make it so and convince themselves of that obvious nonsense or are they trying to convince me? Either way I see it as pitiable that they are chasing this impossible dream and setting themselves up to fail. But then, they seem to enjoy victimhood. To cap off this ramble, we must devise a way to keep these people, with such a tenuous grasp on sanity, away from children.

Please site historical examples where feminists made it so females have been allowed to invade male bathrooms, male changing rooms, male prisons, male domestic violence centers, male rape crisis centers, were given male-only scholarships and awards, etc etc.

This is what we are talking about when we say males are invading our spaces. Yeah sure, some people complain about males in lesbian bars and the like, but that is not the main issue at hand.

[–][deleted] 4 insightful - 4 fun4 insightful - 3 fun5 insightful - 4 fun -  (0 children)

One big male-only space women invaded was politics, and it has not been to anyone's benefit. The workplace is another. The court room, both as jurists and lawyers. Banking. The military. Higher education.

you mean the men's shelters, men's campus centers, men's homeless programs they'd picket until they were cancelled or shut down?

I mean it's still funny to see how shocked they were 2014 as they were suddenly unthroned, but replacing one group of narcissists with another one still just leaves you with narcissists

[–]TroonsAreGroomers[S] 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

you mean the men's shelters, men's campus centers, men's homeless programs they'd picket until they were cancelled or shut down?

All that and more.

I also remember, back in maybe 2013 or 2014, a talk about male suicide being organized at some university campus. Because more men commit suicide than women. But apparently this was offensive to feminists, who picketed the event and attempted to block people from going inside, shouting that anyone attending was an "MRA rapist" and such. And I remember one altercation was caught on film, where a young man was explaining that he wanted to attend because his friend had killed himself and he was struggling with this and wanted to understand why. And the feminist who came to be known as Big Red said to him, in that sneering, mocking tone:

"Cry me a river"

So yeah, when I see shit like this: https://reduxx.info/exclusive-trans-activists-stage-coup-of-womens-washroom-at-university-paint-whore-graffiti/

Where troons have literally staged a coup in a women's restroom, on a campus that they already had to install emergency buttons in the restroom due to the sexual assaults taking place there, and they grafitti "rape TERFs" on the walls -

My first instinct is, wow, that is beyond fucked. Sounds a lot like those GC ladies have a point!

But then I remember Big Red.

And I remember the screaming and the physical violence directed at male victims of DV attempting to organize just a single meeting to talk about their experiences... and I remember how any discussion of men's issues since at least 2010 has been stamped out and drowned out in a sea of propaganda and slurs about "men's rights extremists" who beat their wives and are just "misogynists" and don't have any real issues anyway... so therefore they must be forcibly prevented from associating with one another and discussing things like male suicide, male DV victims, MGM, the justice system being biased against men, etc.

So then when I see TERFs protesting their bathrooms being colonized by 6 ft troons making their rapey intentions clear by literally writing it on the wall, I think...

Cry me a river

it's very interesting to me how radfems were completely unquestionable for like three decades, then they tangled with a slightly different circle of identitarian narcs and became a swearword overnight https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ah9F2JoCmOc

and it's happened several times after--you could literally be fired or refused a degree because you didn't sign a paper wholeheartedly endorsing Peggy MacIntosh and Robin Di Angelo's potted views of US race--until March 2020, then overnight it was "wait, why are these ass-slappingly wealthy white ladies being put in charge of race?" I've literally seen a FB page ban someone for disagreeing with them, and the next month rejecting them

Feminist is a misnomer, and this has been the root of this particular manifestation for the entirety of the usage of the term, so far as I can tell.

Feminism since the 1960s has been about eliminating and discouraging precisely the qualities in the female sex which we think of as "feminine". Rather than celebrating the female "aura", if you will, feminists wanted women to act like men. So they celebrated every masculinization of women (competition, aggression, and uncouth behavior) and discouraged every element of the traits which traditionally balanced out those male characteristics (compassion, agreeability, and refined manners). Feminism worked to make women essentially be men.

There was never a corresponding defense of the traditionally female characteristics. They were just supposed to magically be present in women anyway. Look how it's worked out: our culture has become dominantly competitive, aggressive, and uncouth.

And our culture is dying. This is just a trend, and trends do reverse. But in the meantime, western civilization appears to be on its way to the dustbin of history. I have often wondered who's going to pick up the baton?

[–][deleted] 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

Not sure what are you talking about? There's still plenty of communities that are male only, even when women are also allowed. Heck, check any local bar in your city/town, it's usually sausage fest. Also, check any gaming or other nerd spaces, it's mostly full of men. And finally, check furry fandom, it's almost entirely gay and heterosexual men, there's almost no biological women there.

I have way more respect for terfs than troons though. At least the former is honest. Dishonesty is the very basis of troonism.

Not true in the UK.

There are loads of men only clubs here.

How many female masons do you have in America?

Correct. I do remember driving past a masonic lodge in the Portland area when I lived there that I was always curious about, but I have never met anyone that professed to be a mason. Is that a common thing in the UK?

Ok, but what about a group of people who happen to have uncircumcised cocks?

[–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

Let's assume this is near the truth. I just have a few questions:

  • Why do men commit suicide more often than women anyway ? Before these invasions and since then ?

  • Why aren't physically demanding jobs (construction, mining come to mind, e.g.) literally overrun with women ?

  • Why is it that in kid's education and even in higher education of some professions (all pink-collar-jobs e.g.) males (especially as role-models for all those dysfunctional families) are vastly underrepresented?

  • Why is it still a fact that even when there are big event shilling for girls and women in STEM-professions, I always can count the number of female students on three fingers ? (Even when sometimes there are sitting more than 200 students in the room?)

Correct:

Because feminism is all about women further extending privileges they already have anyway, and not about filling gender "gaps" or equal rights of men and women.

So men declaring themselves to "be" women is quite obviously just a move to turn the tables individually against these big tables feminists have turned against men in general.

[–]TroonsAreGroomers[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

The answer to most of this is that men and women are different. If women want to work in dirty and physically demanding jobs, or in STEM fields, then I wish them all the best and I am sure there are some who are great at what they do. It doesn't change the fact those are outliers and the vast majority of women will choose not to work those roles. The great push from feminists to get women into the workplace only really happened once society had progressed to the point a lot of people could get paid by sitting in air-conditioned offices.

There is a bell curve. Men tend to fall into the category of relatively smart or relatively dumb while women tend to cluster around the mean. This means there are more men with low brainpower (and higher muscle mass than women) who are more suited to physical work. It also means there are more men in STEM fields.

[–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I agree.

On the other hand, there are still a lot of fields where men are vastly underrepresented (like pink collar jobs) but no one gives a rat's ass about it. Even when it is quite obvious that this has serious implications for the next generation.

Men and women in a mean average are different, and that is why all those pointless fights for virtual privileges are mostly red herrings. When most women don't choose these fields anyway.

At these "Girls In Science"-fairs, I'm always like Skipper from "Penguins Of Madagascar" : "Smile and wave, fellas. Just smile and wave. And look fluffy.".

There are sorts of the bull shittiest things in existence. When you see some overly entitled teacher trying to "force" young girls into asking questions about things they just don't have any passion for whatsoever.
