Do you think it is a good idea to raise kids to be colorblind?

I saw a photo of a white kid and his black friend having the same haircut so they their teacher couldn't tell the difference. I guess that was supposed to be proof that kids don't see race.

I doubt that is a good idea. If that white kid grows up to be weaker than the black kid, I am sure that the black kid will start to bully and harass him. Most black kids are extremely violent and hateful towards people that are better than them. That is my experience.

Not color blind, for that will be denying reality, but making sure they understand the difference between culture and genetics.

We tried colorblind and racial violence is the highest it has ever been. I think blacks need to be kept in check or they become violent. Let's do racism again.

Every day, the media blasts white people and proclaims that blacks are entitled to anything and everything from them, because apparently you can inherit guilt and every white person was a plantation owner 200 years ago. You call this colorblind? No, back when we were colorblind we got along. We didn't get along before that, and we aren't getting along again, but we had a short period of peace, and it was all thanks to colorblindness.

The reason they do this is to avoid another Charlie Hebdo, no media outlet wants to be shot up by terrorists or gangs of looters and nutjobs because muh offended. Groups of angry minorities cause havok when they don't get their way and end up blowing shit up. The problem with pandering to people and succumbing to the threat of violence is they grow up to feel entitled, this giving them justification to behave aggressively if they are then offended. It's a viscous circle.

No, they do it to virtue signal and generate controversy for more viewers. Which in turn makes minorities think they're entitled to do whatever they want to the "oppressive" class.

Then the question is this. Do people virtue signal to confirm with their peers and to be accepted and liked, sitting on the moral high ground no matter how illogical? Or do they do it out of fear of rejection, condemnation and ultimately suffering from unjust persecution by their peers, their employers or at the hands of an angry mob? I sense that deep down, it's the latter.

Perhaps, though I am inclined to suspect that people in general are less cautious of boosting reputation among their inner circle than fearful of wider reputation damage that could lead to lasting harm to their home, their career and their physical safety.

I think most blacks also act out because of their lower iq and low self control. Many cases of blacks murdering innocent blacks and innocent whites. I feel like most blacks will always hate other races for their low success rates in society, but that is mostly due to their low iq and not racism.

culture is a reflection of a people. African culture every where on the planet is degenerate and low class. Why would anyone expect different. Blacks are not built for modern civil society, with a few exceptions.

When they are in better areas, their violent nature is kept in check. They must be kept away from black majorities. This theory has been around for a long time, as long as Europeans have been trying to civilize them. It still holds pretty well.

In more affluent areas, black culture is kept very low but I have seen plenty of areas where that changed and it ruined the place.

Of course it's cultural. But is it accurate to define anything as black or white culture? Wouldn't it be more accurate to determine a culture geographically and historically? People of similar genetics have vastly different cultures and social values depending on their environment. The culture of Liverpool differs from the culture of Sussex, nothing racial about that.

genetics influences cultures, English of Liverpool and Sussex while differing some in culture will still share more than a Nigerian would with and English man of Sussex. Culture is the outward attitude of race.

The culture of black Americans differs from Caribbeans, differs from Africans, differs from British, differs from French, etc. It's convenient to suggest local towns are more similar racially, until you just go across some.water.to say, Scandinavia or Russia, then you see massive differences.

But in a different culture they're disconnected from that history. Not genetics, but if it were genetics then raising them in a different culture shouldn't help.

I think I met 1, but that was just 1 of the hundreds of ghetto blacks I have seen. I never seen a majority black US area act normal. After all, rich blacks are more violent than poor whites. Rich black neighborhoods are more violent than poor white neighborhoods. That's why I think IQ and other genetic differences cause them to be more violent than media.

I've seen that story.

It's pretty clear to me the kids were winding the parents up found it hilarious the adults went alone with it.

You spend time with any kid that age and they aren't stupid. They are, however, tricky.

I'm not sure about colorblind, but I will say things seemed to be going a lot better back when the dominant culture preached equality. That got replaced with "diversity", a clearly anti-colorblind philosophy, and things have been getting worse ever since.
