Maui fires were started intentionally. But not by a DEW, that's a disinformation narrative to distract people

DEWs may exist, but there was no need to use one for Maui. Hurricane winds were occurring, and I've read the fire started in 4 places.

If it was a DEW, as in a satellite shooting down EMF to burn things, the road next to the cars would be melted. It was clearly just a very hot fire, that burned drywood buildings that weren't up to code, that was badly exacerbated by hurricane-force winds occurring at the time.

There are so many posts on reddit and elsewhere saying "It was a Directed Energy Weapon!" and there's no evidence of that whatsoever. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

However, it seems very likely the fires were started deliberately, likely as part of a land grab.

The people talking about DEWs are only acting to distract from the actual conspiracy that occurred, and to make anyone who says the fires might be deliberate look like a nutter. It's a way to derail and shut down conversation.

DEWs might exist, but there's no evidence they were used here, and they definitely don't have the power to melt a whole down. And there's definitely no reason to center the entire discussion around this sci-fi technology when the fires could've easily just been started by hand.

It's distraction and disinformation, and the intensity with which it's being pushed tells me that they really don't want people having honest discussions about what happened. They want people to be afraid to mention it. "If I mention the fire was intentional, people will think I'm a crazy conspiracy nutter who believes in DEWs, so I'll just keep my mouth shut" is the mindset they're trying to engineer in to people with this particular story.

I hope everyone sees this disinformation campaign for what it is, and is on their guard, and helps others see it as well.

There are certainly many other ways the fires could have been started. Arson is not a new crime. A drone recorded video of a suspect starting fires in Italy.

Something in plain sight could be used for evil: 5G. The towers emit microwave energy, and if the power were increased, it could function like a microwave oven.

Yes good point.

On the 5G, it doesn't generate enough heat to start fires though. It does definitely do heating though, agreed on that point.

Microwaves do not have to generate heat to ignite a fire. All it takes is a spark. And electric wire will spark in a microwave field, as weak as what is output in a microwave oven used by civilians. I do not know what started the fires in Hawaii, but I know microwaves could easily be used to ignite fires. It would appear as almost a perfect crime. Microwaves are silent and invisible.

Perhaps. I think there's like a 5% chance that's the reason. I think it's much more likely they were just started by a few guys with lighters who were paid

I like it. Seeing something not right, but actively calling out the crazies that we coddle instead of make fun of now days... I find this take fair. Right or wrong, calling out what is OBVIOUSLY wrong, pointing out you need to have BIG evidence to support BIG claims.... you do not get too much more fair than that.

Yeah now the MSM conversation is no longer about the travesty and finding culprits, but instead about fringe nonsense beliefs and 'conspiracy theorists' and if they should be excluded from society or whatever.

Perfect way to derail anything serious, like finding who was responsible, and them being held accountable for what they've done.
