Your dream is reminding you not to smoke in bed or falling asleep on the couch

I'm surprising good about that one, I knew a woman who burned down a neighboring building by falling asleep in bed with a cigarette.

What did your wife say when you told her?

I didn't tell her, she might think poorly of me not saving dream her.

edit: decided to bite the bullet, she was happy the dream cats were saved.

Tell her that you think of her as a cat and it was her that you were saving. That will go well.

Anyone here seen any gameplay from that Forespoken game? The one with the magical black girl who gets teleported to a mystical land while she's still in her Nike sneakers?

There's a section where the lovely apartment she's been squatting in with full amenities gets set on fire. She bursts out of bed, leaving her duffle bag of stolen money next to the bed to save her cat. As a player you have to actually walk past the bag to leave the room. You can even interact with the bag, suggesting she take it as she goes, seeing as it's her stolen life saves, but she just says: "I gotta find the cat first"

... Why? Why find the cat first? The bag is right there, all it requires is the near instantaneous motion of opening your fist, closing it over the conveniently attached straps specifically designed to allow you to carry it easily and not slow you down, and then continue your search for the cat. If that 0.7 second action was the difference between the cat's life or death, chances are you weren't going to find it anyway before it died.

... Anyway, my point is, fuck your cats, man. If there's a fire they prolly started it.

I'll try. You feel that you are not prepared for the unexpected emergency.

It's definitely an anxiety dream.

My weird sleeping schedule, the bedroom having black out curtains, and our king sized bed means sometimes I do wake up and not realize she's still in bed next to me.

And I worry about the cats and fire. It would be so horrible for them to perish in a building they have no hope of getting out of.
