This is an incredibly haunting and well-written account of this historical case of a family of 4 getting lost in the desert, and their fate being lost until one researcher took it upon himself to find them.

That was really an interesting read. The researcher ultimately figured out that a somewhat mundane concern drove their decision to take the route they took.
