I feel like if they actually address the issue with any degree of sensibility I'll eat my hat.

I suspect we'll see a lot of ignored questions

I honestly think we should stop giving them the attention they crave. Just ignore them. They are not interested in our wellbeing. This is a power trip for them.

It's not about getting their attention, necessarily. Other people who don't work at reddit will see those comments too.

One of the reasons the trans movement has been winning is because they make themselves heard EVERYWHERE. It doesn't even matter if it makes sense; the idea just has to planted in their head. Any opportunity we are presented with is worth taking.

You think they won't delete wrongthink comments? It'll just be another opportunity to "prove" why they're right. And no I don't think they're winning at all, they are getting their way not because people agree with them- to the contrary, most people don't agree, but because they have massive amounts of money and institutional power backing them.

Let them delete the wrongthink questions. Those will show up on removeddit and other archive sites. Then we can post screenshots about the hundreds of women who were silenced by Reddit.

Which is winning. They are passing laws, despite most people not agreeing with them.

Nah

The trans movement has been winning because it’s menial, marginal nonsense that seems perfectly equipped to sabotage and distract the Left while the working class needs leadership

This whole “movement” is very much pushed by the capitalist class

My main question is "why does Reddit hate women and want to silence us?"

[–][deleted] 19 insightful - 1 fun19 insightful - 0 fun20 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Aside from the obvious women-hate questions:

“Why do you allow an inordinate amount of paid moderators who are transwomen? Why do an inordinate amount of trans women moderate a huge number of subs? Why do you allow paid moderators who have controversial backgrounds that include activism for furries and pedophiles? Why do you allow subs that are focused on grooming children into trans ideology and taking hormones? Why do you have subs dedicated to enmeshing children’s games and cartoons with trans ideology? Why do you allow moderators to harass and ban women in health related subs? Why do you allow moderators to harass and ban gay and lesbian posters? Why do you allow mods to censor and attempt to ban subs that are dedicated to detrans people? Why do you allow mods the ability to track stalk and harass people who are ever subscribers or who have ever posted in certain subs that they personally don’t agree with? How can you justify major moderators also moderating blatantly political subs that are dedicated to certain political figures or parties— isn’t that conflict of interest in terms of being fair and neutral about content? (Don’t like the Orange man, but it seems problematic for moderators to also oversee subs like “vote blue”. I’m sure they steer the discussion to their personal preferences and ban those who disagree).

Why do you allow an inordinate amount of paid moderators who are transwomen?

Isn't that obvious? They are counting them as "women". Soon, there will be 50% male mods and 50% TIMs to accurately reflect the demographics.

Hmm, I nuked my account. I wonder if they’re trying to back handedly force people to sign up again in order to have a dialogue.

As I said on Spinster in response to this message, I doubt they will answer us, and if they do they will bring up some justifications about how we are the violent, bigoted oppressors and they are the delicate flowery victims. They will excuse their behaviour as them fighting against the cistriarchy.

We need to stop believing that they will approach anything as even remotely neutral: they hate us and will do anything in their power to paint us as the evil nazis and them as the victims/fighters from the right side of history.

It's in /r/modnews. Currently, the top rated comment is complaining that there aren't easier ways to report subreddits and users for admin intervention. So it went as expected...

The way the post is worded they also made sure only certain people could ask only certain questions, so the second A in AMA was just a complete lie.

If you post a question, make sure you screenshot it immediately.

They will be watching it closely for any Dangerous Questions

Post your questions one at a time.

Questions I want to see would be to do with the hypocrisy on display, questions about the seemingly random removals of new subs and asking them if and how they are automating that ban process. Questions about report abuse and what they will do about it. Questions about the conflict between cultural values and minority groups and how they would proceed when protected groups are at odds due to old rivalries and due to conflicting values...

You cannot love something without having some hate for whatever threatens that which you love. This is at the center of the conflicts between groups and you can't control it no matter how hard you try.

I tried looking for this in /r/announcements and /r/IAMA to no avail. Anyone know if this is real or not?

[–]firebird[S] 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I have been looking as well and so far haven't found anything. Starting to think it isn't real as well. If I'd known this beforehand, I wouldn't have posted it, so my apologies for that.

I really just wanna know when they get around to banning everything to the Left and Right of neoliberalism and finally degenerate into nothing more than a platform for corporations to shill advertising while the Pentagon pushes propaganda

[–]DifferentAirGC 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

In what sub is it going to be hosted? I forgot, want to look at it later

[–]firebird[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

What's in the screenshot is all the information I have, unfortunately. I've been looking for more but can't find anything. Maybe their official announcements sub?
