The writer obviously is a recent grad of whatever the UK's equivalent of Oberlin is, no doubt double majoring in Queer Theory & Creative Writing, because that's what a lot of this article is.

However, despite the 11-year-old author's best efforts, anyone sane reading this article would probably end up agreeing with Linehan that TiMs don't belong on a LESBIAN dating app, so well done, Graham!

Was it here or Ovarit where someone said we need to make more use of "sophmoric"? After reading your description, I'll pass on the junior high level article, but cheers to Graham Linehan. We need a thousand Graham Linehan's highlighting how ridiculous AGP crap is.

They need to stop trying to protect absurdity with "no hate speech allowed" bans. Men claiming to be women outside of a Monty Python sketch is the unfunniest joke ever.

My initial guess would have been SOAS, but after a little bit of internet sleuthing LinkedIn tells me she went to Kingston University, about which I know absolutely nothing. It's not a bastion of woke, as far as I'm aware.

I know this is a UK paper. FYI though: In the US, WOKE is taught in private and public universities, but also now at the pre-kindergarten level on up, so one doesn't have to go to a WOKE university to be indoctrinated, it starts as you learn how to read.

We don't have a private / public university distinction here. All universities are private (I think?). But yes, it's infiltrating education lower down now as well. Last year there was a TV show called The School That Tried to End Racism wherein a secondary school (~12-18y/o) introduced implicit bias training. It was ridiculous.
