I have read some detransitioners who said taking testosterone did affect their sexual orientation, the example was a bisexual women becoming straight after taking it. Makes me very uncomfortable to think about...

I don't think we understand it well enough to say. Trans is too confounding. Adolescence is too confounding. Controlling for those two is nigh impossible.

Now, if you wanted to be evil scientist, you'd take a group of 30-year-olds who are not trans, who have no sexual orientation confusion, and give them a treatment of cross-sex hormones. Those results you could take home.

I recall GNC Centric (she's on YouTube) has talked about how the antidepressents she was on from a young age suppressed her libido, causing her to literally crowdsource her gender identity and sexuality on the internet. I think at one point she was identifying as a gay man, even though she's now detransitioned and is a lesbian. Alot of these kids are too young to understand their sexuality, and they're growing up on a cocktail of pharmaceuticals that mess with them in ways no one understands.

Was it lasting in her case? If it wasn't, then I think all it did was suppress attraction to one sex temporarily, and not changing sexual orientation(which I believe is static and unchanging). I think it's just easier to notice the suppression in bisexual women then non-bisexual women because they have a second attraction to compare it to. In other words, maybe there is a separate libido bisexual women have for each sex, each of which can be affected by different things. And in her case, one was affected negatively by testosterone intake.

But anyway, don't take this ramble too seriously. Just a shot in the dark.

So she's a lesbian with so much self-loathing she decided to fuck up her body with cross-sex hormones to become a "straight man". The cross-sex hormones made her like men (or she deluded herself into it), and now calls herself a "gay man". Did I get it right?

The latter I reckon.

A lot of this I think is because they want to have sex with men but not as a "woman" because they feel degraded.

Women in porn are treated horrifically, you will not see it in gay porn at least not to the same extent (And I think this is key). And lesbian porn is very phoney.

Frankly, I wonder how much porn has an impact of trans people.
