Guess you guys don't like trans vaginas

Sometimes I really think we are living in some sort of parallel universe "clown world" like, for real. How did humanity become like this? It's like that rat experiment Universe 25 where the rats became so overcrowded that they all just collectively lost their fucking minds, stopped reproducing and died out. And we are the rats.

I think we are still paying for the massive changes in the American diet during the recession of the 1970s, and this is one way:

American diet is total shit. So unhealthy. They don't know how to eat, how to cook, they often ruin how sacred italian cuisine too. It's a shame of a country. No wonder they have 40 percent obesity rate

[–]hetisachoice 14 insightful - 2 fun14 insightful - 1 fun15 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

Americans have a knack for taking every country's cuisine and watering it down into the same sugary slop.

It should be punished with death penalty. A swedish cook promoted pineapple pizza and received death threats from Italy. We're a bit sensitive about our cuisine :D

Am American. It's far worse than you think. There's such a laissez-faire attitude around it as well. We're not trying and failing, we're just failing. All our media is, by my opinion, rife with misinformation about diet. There's a whole industry promising people "quick fixes" for their obesity. Everything from pills to wrapping cold packs around your abdomen.

Here's one for you. The gym that I am a member of, they have a pizza night once a month. Free slices of pizza (with membership.) It makes monetary sense for the gym to keep people fat, ya know.

Wow, cold pack on abdomen lol I mean I think Homer Simpson really represents a lot of americans in terms of stupidity. It's strange that such a powerful country has so many idiots and problems. I guess capitalism earns by keeping people dumb and unhealthy.

We're certainly unique, I'll give you that. It would take a series of books to tease all the reasons apart and analyze them. Some are pretty easy to point to, such as how we came out of WWII with our industry unscathed by bombs and whatnot. Others, much more nuanced.

[–]Elvira95Viva la figa 10 insightful - 1 fun10 insightful - 0 fun11 insightful - 1 fun -  (5 children)

To me is all about capitalism. The government is interested in supporting rich people and corporations, in Europe there is far more focus on people interest. It isn't so stressful to deal with private healthcare, free guns, obesity and now all this queer thing? Probably you're used, but it seems so much to handle, with very little government support.

Europe also has... wait for it... walkable cities. My obese dad lost twenty pounds just walking around Europe for 10 days, and he was probably eating worse than normal.

Can you NOT derail the thread with your bullshit??

[–]hetisachoice 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

I see fat people walking all the time where I live.

[–]fuck_reddit 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Yes... but how far are they walking? Cause believe me, it’s not the same distance.

I think many Americans suffer from malnutrition due to a high-carb/sugar/salt and not enough fat/protein/fiber diet, but they don't even realize it because they are surely eating enough food. But the wrong kind of food, which causes lack of energy, lack of motivation, increase in illness and depression, which of course has a HUGE effect on society.

If you're in the mood, The Dorito Effect is a great book!

What a coincidence; I'm arguing this very point now on another forum with a "MrVegan". I'm using this video as a basepoint for my logic. They basically started the argument in bad faith, by deboonking the presentation with a pro-carb Wired article and a complete strawmanning of what the guy said. The Standard American Diet(SAD) and similar Canadian diet is not ideal for health.

Anyway, I myself recently started eating normal Butter again after using margarine for so very long. Tastes waaay better and it's nice getting some milk associated vitamins/minerals without needing them to be "fortified" in there by some detached industrial process. I've been cutting back on the sugar(very hard at the beginning because I love donuts and soda), because it's just empty calories and very unlike the foods that humans have been subsisting on for basically forever(until relatively recently in evolutionary timeframes). And I have mostly cut back on the fried/baked starchy junk food like chips and crackers(salty foods being less difficult to quit but still). Last but not least, my protein intake is going up along with the associated fat intake, and I feel better than before. Lot less brain fog, anxiety, and better physically endurance. I seriously think I didn't know a thing about eating well when I was much younger. That led to some problems which affected me for years. I'm wondering how I even survived.... probably because of family who knew how to cook with basic, natural, and traditional, ingredients.

/nutrition rant.

I guess I'll check out The Dorito Effect. The summary sounds interesting.

Diet is undoubtedly part of it, but I'm more worried about the people who almost literally do zero exercise for weeks on end. There's just so many people who do nothing else except wake up, drive to work, drive to the grocery store, and then go home (obvs pre-covid).

Getting exercise is so important for your mental health and people should really be doing it every other day at the most infrequent.

This is both hilarious and enraging. But I'm not even angered by Yaniv at this point, I'm angered by the cowardice of canadian society. He called the firefighters to commit OBSENITY. To commit a crime, to make them feel forced to have unwanted physical contact and flash his genitals. And they did not call the police and press charges against him, they went on with it THIRTY TIMES.

We can also note that there's an eerie pattern of growing boldness coming from Yaniv, this isn't good. He's a dangerous man. He's seeking bigger and stronger thrills, more bold attempts at sexual harassment. He has gotten to the point where he's trying to sexually embarrass and humiliate a dozen men per day. Growing boldness is a dangerous sign in criminality. It might not take long until Yaniv snatches a child going to school from the streets to molest. His mind is very twisted and his boldness is growing.

He surely has a mental disorder, and I'm usually good at armchair diagnosing, but this feels like something completely new. It's like a child who keeps sticking his hand in the fire, and you'd expect the hand to get burned and for him to learn the lesson, but the hand doesn't burn and he never learns. He keeps doing it! First he was victimizing scared, impoverished immigrant women, now he's moved up to victimizing firemen. Soon he's going to be showing his balls to gang members and street thugs, I guess.

[–][deleted] 11 insightful - 2 fun11 insightful - 1 fun12 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

It looks like a Ponzi scheme, doesn't it? It'll topple eventually, in some spectacular fashion, I'm sure.

It’s like he both relishes the humiliation/attention from the incidents/crimes and loves the reversal of roles when he threatens a lawsuit.

Soon he'll be in prison (probably a women's prison) where he can harass them without consequence.

First he was victimizing scared, impoverished immigrant women

Before that it was young, like teenage, girls in the women's washrooms.

I agree with you about Yaniv escalating... He gets off on the power of no one stopping him. He must feel invincible these days. I hope like hell this doesn't end in child molestation or rape.

I can't believe this guy hasn't been put on some sort of registry already.

How come he's allowed on twitter but MM isn't?

[–]insta 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

It's amazing that people like this aren't just put into an institution.

I think society really needs to start recognizing that some people are just are just incompatible and need to be removed. They shouldn't be killed or anything like that but they should be taken out of society into they are better (if ever). A whole bunch of homeless and mentally ill people would also fall under this category.

[–]GConly 15 insightful - 3 fun15 insightful - 2 fun16 insightful - 3 fun -  (0 children)

Tldr: mentally ill criminal upset that he can no longer indecently expose himself to fire fighters.

[–]hetisachoice 12 insightful - 2 fun12 insightful - 1 fun13 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

Oh, how horrible.

I can't believe people allowed this shit to go on this long.

Never have I seen such embarrassing behavior.

Kidnapping children? I'm surprised he hasn't already.

Put

It past him? No. I

Guarantee he will do it.

There were these chats of him that came out a few years back where he had this elaborate plan on going on this ferry boat where apparently schoolchildren are present. And he was going to lurk in the bathroom hoping that a small child will be in need of a tampon, and he wished to know of it was normal for him to help with the insertion of the tampon.

It appals me the way the mainstream media gives cover to this blatant predator.
