It looks like all the original art of the dresser's suraface is now just a tumor underneath an ugly rainbow. They didn't work with what was already there at all, they just used the rectangle to make a rectangular rainbow. The original design of the dresser works best with the wood grain. It should be stained or polished, not painted over and left to rot underneath

I thought the thumbnail was the after picture and clicked expecting it to not be that bad.

What kind of Neanderthal does that to what looks like an antique? It was beautiful already, just needed some maintenance.

The fucker couldn't even use tape so the paint strips would be straight. Oh I forget, "this person is so gay that they can't paint straight".

I saw the first pic and was like, "What's the problem?" Then saw the second one.

That is so sad, it was so beautiful before lol. I'm amazed that someone just left this dresser the side of the road though! If that's true, then the person who ditched it may be even lamer than OP. Still, lol.

Ew. I actually like rainbows but. This isn't it. This is some /r/DiWHY shit... the colors don't even blend nicely together. I also think the wooden detail made the original piece and painting it over with solid colors doesn't even look good.

How atrociously gaudy is that? That's gonna strain the vision just having it in the room. If they really wanted something rainbowly they could've just done something subtle with the handles. I agree with the person who screamed "Noooo!"
