Removing for rule 2.

This would be better suited for s/GenderCritical, s/GenderCriticalGuys, or s/ThereAreTwoGenders

This shit totally goes against the whole purpose of sex crime reports, which is about giving objective data to help police during investigation. It done anything rather than creating false stats, where women are blamed for men behaviour.

And to be ultra clear, it is blatantly pseudoscientific regardless of whether the man changed his reported sex on legal documents. It's impossible for humans to changes sexes.

Can we end this whole "Rape is when a penis is put into some else's orifice without consent" bs while we're at it? Rape is nonconsentual sex between two people, fullstop. By this definition, a man cannot be raped by a woman and two women would be entirely incapable of rape happening between them unless a man got involved. This is why male victims of abuse/assault aren't taken seriously, even the law will refuse to acknowledge them in some places.

I just hope TRAs don't try to get rape redefined as "A self identified male forcibly inserting his natal penis into someone's orifice without consent" just to define themselves out of the possibility since no trans person both has a penis and identifies as male.

Rape is about penetration (not just by penis), but sexual assault include forced non penetrative sex act too

UK law requires a penis to be inserted, it it's categorised as "other sexual assault".

Having said that, the severity of sentencing for "other sexual assault" can be just as harsh, so it's a terminology difference.

Because the Scottish police deeply believe that half the population they serve deserve to live in fear of what predators will be given governmental permission to do to them, yes.

For what other crimes can the perps determine their own identities?

For instance, given that in some places teens around the same age can have legal under-age sex, will people who want to have sex with a minor be able to identify as a minor themselves?

Where is the line drawn with self-ID? Or is it only transgenders who get to tell the police what they are?

Seriously (and oddly enough) RT often has much more interesting, pertinent, and often more accurate, news on what's going on in the US than the US media.

This same RT article has a link to an article on California's new law allowing men to self-identify into women's prisons. You can't find that kind of honesty about this atrocity in US media, except perhaps in conservative media.

Same thing happens when using search engines. Yandex has more results including controversial than google (seems they are deciding beforehand what is safe and useful for me to see).
