Nooo don't you know cultural appropriation is just for when somebody wears the wrong hairstyle?

Time to bring back the original design. It looks a lot better, imo.

It's a nice design. Either that or the classic look.

The problem with Sue Donym's suggestion of flying a new flag that is specifically opposed to the TRA modified flag is it's basically asking to paint a massive crosshair on someone to be ready to engage in trans activism warfare. I just don't think globally we're in a position to be safe and be open about gender critical views.

Oh yeah. I love the swallowtail version as a big middle finger to invasive gender ideology, but people should be fully aware of what they are saying when they fly this one less they be targeted by the woke mob.

I think simply not switching to the new flag is probably good enough as resistance.

Yeah, not switching and just feigning polite ignorance about the issues seems safest at present, sadly.

Pink dye is available for cheap now.

Before Gilbert Baker designed his flag for the San Francisco Gay Freedom Day Parade in June 1978, the primary symbol for homosexuals back then was the pink triangle

Does no one remember the Lambda?

"L" is for "liberation", "greek" implies gay, lambda is the greek l. So a lot of people wore lamdas in the 70s and 80s to mean gay liberation.

Interesting. Guess that went out of style for some reason.

I just checked. Lambda Legal still exists, along with the Lambda Literary Awards. Otherwise, the symbol is still common but usually in the background.

Probably not for the most part

I've noticed a lot of people use the individual flags for gay/lesbian/bi. Even LGB on the main header is in each flag. Does anyone else think it's better to all unite under the rainbow flag? I mean I thought that the point of it was that it includes everyone

I don't like the flag business to begin with (no bi flag in my flair, obv) but I can't be the only one who flinches when I see a rainbow flag now. It's now a signal to be wary of the wearer- unless you can tell through some other means that they're gay. Straight people with rainbows on.... I avoid them.
