All the discrimination against gay/lesbian is because of being same-sex couples, but the TRAs are out there insisting that same-sex attraction isn't even real.

And these people can still get married by these ass backwards institutions because they still see them as the sex they are. A "transbian" can marry some bisexual woman because theyre technically a heterosexual relationship but these people want to be the face of the gay/lesbian movement. Jesus.

They appear to have ruled that way because the contract the city was using allowed for exemptions from its non-discrimination rule but the city refused to give an exemption to this catholic service, thus treating them differently that other service providers on the basis on their religious beliefs. A clear case of discrimination hence the 9:0 verdict.

So basically "This week in news articles that say something other than the body of the article."

You can expect that just about any time the word “rights” is in a headline.

Yeah i meant headline there... But really this is in no way limited to that narrow topic. I'm constantly having to cite the body of an article back at people when they link me a headline as proof of some dumb shit.

Straight dude here that harbors no ill will towards any of you fine folks:

I think scotus got it right this time and I like that the catholic institution has put it out there that they have yet to actually deal with a case like this and if they had they'd refer said couple towards another adoption agency that wasn't church affiliated.

If I am in the wrong somehow please, politely, tell me what I am missing. I'm not a church guy but I believe churches should be left alone. I also believe they shouldn't be tax exempt if I'm not but that's for another discussion.

edit: here to learn and hear things from another perspective not to argue. Much love.
