Yes, because cultures outside the west are so accepting of gay men. Damn dirty westerners and their, uh, acceptance of gay men?

After reading the comments, I realize this is serious but I fucking laughed so hard. In which two males appear to be men indeed. I had to try reading it so many times but I just kept tearing up. This person is a class A fucking idiot. Transgender homosexuality. I just couldn't wrap my mind around what the fuck he was trying to say for so long. The scare quotes around "gay men" like you're not fucking gay unless you're in a masc-fem relationship. One could argue that that kind of relationship is "straighter" (though I wouldn't because I'm not a fucking idiot and I know what homosexuality is).

Source please? Give us that Twitter link so we can see for ourselves what's happening.

Based on the image alone, I feel like he's trying to be woke, but unintentionally proving our point.

Two (gay) males expressing masculinity/gender together are homosexual. Two (gay) males, where one is expressing masculinity/gender and one is expressing femininity/gender, are still homosexual.

"Western constructs and function is misogyny and femme-phobia" is just him being a soyboy. He wants to place one male expression above the other for kudos and asspats, so he doesn't have to actually self-reflect and be a real person.

“Western construct”? Well, at least there is something that the western world gets right. A homosexual relationship between two men will always be superior to a relationship between a man and a trans “woman” because in the former case, both men are honest with themselves and accept that they’re homosexual/bisexual males, whereas in the latter case one partner cannot accept that he’s gay so he passes himself off as a woman and the other partner just goes along with it so he can pretend he’s straight. Pointing this out is not misogynistic, because this has got nothing to do with women.

The white knight who posted this trash is either homophobic or he suffers from internalised homophobia.

This reads like a word salad at the bottom of a spam email.

Nothing existed before the white(male who appeared to be a) man come. He constructed the world and all the 900 genders therein in 6 days. And on the 7th day, the westerner rested. He saw all that he had made and it was very good. Until a black transwoman threw the first brick at Stonewall...

Societies that accept sex between males, but not romantic relationships between males have gender-structured-homosexuality (one of them is forced to become a woman for sex to be socially acceptable).

Societies that accept romantic relationships between males, but not sex between males have age-structured-homosexuality (sex is reduced to "practical sex education" between a man and a boy for it to be socially acceptable).

But societies that accept both sex between males and romantic relationships between males have egalitarian homosexuality. Thus egalitarian homosexuality is inherently superior to the other two forms.

Transgender homosexuality that involves a feminized male, As in males who identify as trans and try to make themselves appear feminine? Is this person taking about transwomen who are in relationship with men? Isn't calling them gay considered transphobic or something?

"If you aren't somehow imitating heterosexuality, you're doing it wrong."

What an idiot. No, it was always the egalitarian relationship between two men that was considered the most threatening. There has long been a space for effeminate men, one that's been written about numerous times. He could be the church organist, the hairdresser, the florist, the decorator, any one of many "ornamental" social roles where he didn't have much power and was kept contained. It was when we emerged from that that we encountered condemnation.

Exactly. Leave the gays ALONE!

They don't have to submit to your stereotypes to be the "best gays possible". They live their lives loving men and being men. That's it.

"your views are heterosexist and heteronormative. You speak of western colonialism but homophobia is connected to the binary gender system you're pushing, where you imitate the evil and oppressive dynamic of one being a man and one being a woman and that hurts my feelings because it's heterosexist

    I'm saving that.

"feb femmes" and some others who resent gay men are spreading the "gay males are misogynist" memes

FEBfems are bisexual women who are exclusive to women, either by most attractiveness or preference/choice. Gay men have nothing to do with it. If anything, heterosexual men are the problem for FEBfems.

Stop bringing your personal prejudice into discussions that have nothing to do with it. Literally NO ONE said anything like that.

This conversation is about "cis" gay men vs "trans" gay men (AKA straight women). Keep focused.

And her views of gay men are just laughable. She's clearly being dishonest. Gay men ...

There ... that's what you should be doing more of. Debate and argue what's being presented, and back up and support gay men.

Notice how they change narratives to slander the people that want nothing to do with them to help raise violence against those groups or demonize them? They'll never leave us alone and we need to go after them and give our own narratives.

    Pot - Kettle.
