I used to think blue hair was kind of pretty, but now it's just associated with this stuff and now I see it as a flashing warning sign.

I have pleasant memories of blue hair. I keep them safe in a locked headbox sequestered from contemporary visions of the human equivalent of poison dart frogs.

Tonight I wondered to my husband whether the problem is that the generation coming-of-age has never been given any hard limits. Everybody gets participation awards, and you can be anything and everything you want. Our generation, Gen-X, was given relatively precise parameters on being, if not behavior. ("When I was a boy men were men and women were women, straights were straights and gays were gays, we didn't have any of this transgender pansexual stuff... get off my lawn!")

On a side note, I also told him that I am now transvertical, I identify as a 6'5" individual, and he is now to look up whenever he speaks to me.

A fellow transvertircal. Its hard when people treat me as very short while I identify as an amazon. We should really make a law against transverticalphobic leading transvertical folks to suicide, by not recognize their truth vertical identity.

This video feels like a cross between an advertisement and an induction ceremony into a cult.

And when you came to me and said “mom, I”m Korean..” I thought it was odd because your father and I are both white, but thank you for letting me know who you are. Now hold the camera while I post this moment for tic tok.

So to dye hair blue, you need to first dye them yellow?

Fuck, I didn't know that.

I believe if you've got particularly dark hair that you want to dye you need to bleach it first otherwise it will just look like a very dark blue rather than the poison dart frog blue that lets the world know you're a bona fide, dyed-in-the-hair wit queer now.

If you've got quite fair hair, the bleaching stage can be skipped, I think.

My god, I hate seeing anything with LGBT now.

It really is all about trans.

Very little is said about gays and lesbians.
