Why does all "the work I gotta do" revolve around becoming "okay with dick"?! It's narcissistic/incel logic - I should be allowed access to anyone's body I choose and if they fail to provide that access they are in the wrong and must be punished.

It's infuriating to see it framed as a human rights issue.

PS - I will never be okay with dick, gay men should not ever have to be okay with vaginas, and no one owes anyone access to their body. Goddammit, it's so simple.

The amount of gay male friends I have who've said they "would be open to a trans man" has honestly shook me. These were men I'd had meaningful conversations about our homosexuality with and all the shit we went through to be ok with it, so to see their willingness to toss it aside makes me wonder if I'm the crazy one sometimes for being adamant about being exclusively same-sex attracted. We're homosexual, we shouldn't have to be "ok" with opposite sex partners!?

This is probably true too. I knew a MtF who had a really nice voice before "coming out as trans". It wasn't masculine but had some soft bass to it.

After he turned MtF he became nearly impossible to hear on discord.

I was literally at the point of adjusting all audio settings on my entire PC just to try and hear this person but it was still just impossible sometimes because his whisper would go to nothing sometimes. I actually had all my audio settings turned up to 100% and then had all my other settings scaled down to like 10% in the volume mixer... Except discord which was at max 100% then I had this person cranked up another 200% inside discord because that was the max. Due to this I would need to manually turn EVERY SINGLE OTHER PERSON who joined a channel down to like 5-10%.

I dealt with this for months and no quantity of complaining would convince him to speak up. He would just move the microphone closer to his mouth and then somehow get quieter... Like literally no sounds come out just slight puffs of air then he got upset if you didn't hear something.

Finally I just asked if he was whispering to this point because he was afraid of his original voice sounding slightly male. He said yes then was clearly upset and then that's the last I heard from him so I got to turn my sounds back to normal.

Damn, that sounds annoying. I'm glad to hear you spoke up about it and they got duly triggered, solving the problem. If there's one thing I hate is that fake-ass whispering some use to sound more "gentle" or "nonthreatening". Second thing is vocal fry. Vocal cords are meant to be used and normally.

He wasn't very loud to begin with but his voice was not incredibly manly so I'm not sure what the deal was. It seemed entirely in his head like a voice version of anorexia.

Some people spend their lives interested only in themselves. Almost all Japanese animation is produced with hardly any basis taken from observing real people, you know. It’s produced by humans who can’t stand looking at other humans.
