This year, more Americans than ever are talking about the rights of transgender people, as states across the country introduced dozens of bills to restrict transgender people’s access to opportunities and freedoms the rest of us take for granted.

Unfortunately, these conversations are often based on misinformation – rather, disinformation promoted by politicians trying to stoke fear and advance harmful policies.

Bolding mine.

This is why censorship and deplatforming campaigns are your problem too. What goes for Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine now will go for "lesbians are natal women" next year, or the year after. Facebook's extremism warnings are continually being extended to a larger and larger variety of groups (home canning and prepper groups this last week,) Instagram and Twitter censor links from more and more websites each week, Verizon will no longer allow links from certain sites in personal text messages. Chase Bank keeps closing conservative activists' and politicians' accounts unannounced. All done in the name of "protecting our community" or "preventing misinformation."

I know I'm preaching to the choir here, but this can get maddening. It's so obvious what they're doing.

The U.S. has become a fascist state (for real this time!) but with a creepy veneer of moral superiority masking the ugly reality of who is oppressing who.

Consider that people might also be misled on Ivermectin. There is decent literature support for Ivermectin, both direct and indirect (some of it is mixed, to be sure, the literature is not unanimous). Anecdotally I know several people whose covid symptoms improved considerably after taking Ivermectin. The problem with Ivermectin is that there is no real money to be made from it.

It wouldn't surprise me to find out the pharmaceutical companies that sponsor junk studies and bribe journalists to lie about trans issues also sponsor junk studies and bribe journalists to lie about Covid.

Sources...? Are you referring to this plagiarized paper that was not peer-reviewed?

Would rather not derail this thread, but also, I'm highly skeptical, lol.

Even with the Elgazzar paper removed, meta-analysis is still suggestive of a treatment effect. See the effects of other studies included in this meta-analysis:

Also, take a look at this site: https://c19ivermectin.com/

FWIW, my mind is not made up on Ivermectin, except for deciding that the science around Ivermectin may have been intentionally obfuscated by powerful parties with clear conflicts of interest.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I am very on the lookout for bias, from both sides, lol. On the one hand, I'm skeptical of it, but on the other hand, seeing the blatant misinformation perpetuated by media outlets about the trans rights debate, particularly false claims about the hate crime rates for transwomen, has made me a lot more open to doubting stuff I hear on the news or from left-wing friends.

Remember when FB called "Wuhan Virology COVID leak" a hoax but then earlier this year stopped using misinformation tab on that? Yeah. Social media as a whole are really playing with fire. US queer imperialism is a real issue that nobody sees as a problem, US imports all the degenerate woke Californian shit to the entire world and acts holier than thou. Trans-fascism is honestly a very insidious threat to our digital lives

Transgender rights which include coerced state mandated sexual activity and state mandated unisex bathrooms seem like a dystopian fantasy. Though I do hope that won't be a reality in the US because after what happened in Texas, I don't think America has the potential to be that liberal, especially after denying the women of an entire state the right to abortion. Canada though is a different story, I'm sure that country would be the first to restyle their national flag with trans colours
