I’m pretty sure that LGBAlliance don’t want Section 28 reinstated. This guy is a clown who is gaslighting an entire organisation. But I can expect this behaviour from him. Given that he wants assault to be committed against his opponents.

And he will get away with it, even though he’s inciting violence. The state protects people like him.

Uneducated American here. What is Section 28 and what's happening?

Googling it keeps giving me sub-sections of various US state laws, or vague articles that are protesting about a number of various LGBT+ or women's rights issues in the UK. Some make it sound like an older law is still in place, and others make it sound like it's been overturned and people are fighting against that now. So I'm confused.

A law passed in Great Britain in 1988 that banned local councils, public schools and public libraries from promoting homosexuality as "a pretend family relationship". In other words, it was illegal for local authorities to treat a same sex couple as a family, even if said couple had children. The law was repealed in 2000 in Scotland, and in 2003 in England and Wales. The law never applied to Northern Ireland.

Obviously LGBAlliance do not want Section 28 reinstated, but TRAs are gaslighting people into thinking that LGBAlliance want to reinstate Section 28.

What we really need is section 230 in the United States removed so twitter, reddit and the tech giants loose their power, we all stop getting banned, and can actually grow. Is this platform free from getting banned unlike reddit?

Trump wanted to get rid of Section 230 after Twitter got rid of his account. Thankfully this never happened, because then sites like this and Odysee would suffer or else be forced to move their operations out of the US, but Trump does not realise that these websites exist. He thinks that there’s only Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram and TikTok.
