Ok this isn't gender related or anything but that phrase took me so long to decipher. WHY THE FUCK DO PEOPLE NOT USE VERBS ANYMORE? I absolutely despise this new trend where people just say things and there's no verb.

Assume everyone is communicating on their phone and not proof-reading as they go. Assume auto-correct is getting the better of them. Once you read comments that way, you can usually understand what they're trying to say, and why verbs are missing.

It doesn't EXCUSE it, I'm just trying to offer an explanation.

Many young people in today's tech-age don't actually use computers or physical visual aids, they use touch-screens of some sort and are taught standardized lessons so they can pass tests. They've missed the automatic spelling and grammar reminders of squiggly lines, and exploring education on their own terms. Since no one is correcting them or holding them accountable in their growth as a person, they don't know or care what they're missing.

Adulthood and the professional workforce is going to be a rude fucking awakening. As a 40+ year old, I constantly have to teach new employees to slow the fuck down and actually stop to think about what they're doing before they submit/save things.

The trend I despise is making up a slang word and using it as a verb. "Yeet" comes to mind, although I know there are others that get under my skin, LOL

I've never really considered the non squiggly line version of auto correct causing a brain drain but it makes lots of sense. I don't mind the slang so much as the disregard for having an actual sentence.

For the past few years ive been doing hookups late at night on the side of the street. This is because currently i dont own my own car or house yet and wont for another 6 months.

This story flies in the face of the entire concept of FWB in my opinion. It's supposed to be "friends" but also benefits. This person just wants to conscript people who they can fuck without having to put in the effort to find a new person each time
