If you want to post the original NYT article, that does have a little more bearing on our sub since the author talks about having a girlfriend, so modern wokeism would lump him in as being a part of LGB: https://archive.ph/EVkwP

But even then, it's a reach since the subject matter isn't about being LGB or the greater alphabet umbrella, it's about being trans.

It’s better to read the article “My New Vagina Won’t Make Me Happy” by Andrea Long Chu straight from the source not from the Heritage Foundation, which has its own unfriendly homophobic agenda. The New York Times is behind a paywall so here’s the archived version.

For reference, Chu is the autogynephilic trans woman widely quoted as saying “Sissy porn did make me trans” and some other things that we know the most aggressive AGP TRAs frequently express in trans spaces but want to keep out of public discourse. So if you want to be charitable, you can at least credit Chu with exhibiting some uncharacteristic forthrightness. Or if you’re more cynical, you may say that this is just a feature of Chu’s exhibitionism. ¿Y por qué no los dos?
