Society is not telling men to date men. Quite the opposite, society would be thrilled if you dated a woman, like most men do.

Story time. I know a transbian irl that likes to laugh about how his family were “relieved” to find out he was “gay” when he came out. The guy genuinely thinks this is some “queer empowerment” story instead of his family clearly being thrilled that he’s actually heterosexual.

he could have just stopped at "okay" for women not wanting to date transwomen and everything would have been perfect. the rest in unecessary and too long. at the end of the day : each their own, each people their spaces to meet people like themselves. how is that complicated ? and why is it so hard to understand ? we shall never know.
