lol one of the replies is like, "this is why I'm terrified of cis gay men" and I can't help but think if this person was so terrified, why not just stay away from 'cis' gay men then? It's not like gay men are actively going to seek them out. Most want nothing to do with them anyways. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yeah...but she needs validation to survive like a vampire needs blood.

She's terrified of the fact that we won't let them boss us around.

So now women with breasts can run around at a gay Bear sex party with their tits out harrassing the gay men 🙄 I'm so sorry that the gay community is now experiencing the clownery that lesbians have been dealing with the last few years, hopefully this will serve as a wake up call as more gay men look around and realize they're surrounded by straight women when all they want is dick.

Gay men already know about this. I just wish it reaches the straight population already, this whole shitfest would end if more straight people become more aware of it.

The shitfest will end when a significant enough number of straight people starts to get affected by it. Straight people only started reacting when their children were harmed by TRAs policies.

This shitfest will also end if more gay people stood up for our community. But there is no gay community. Half of that "community" have sold us put and we are incredibly fractured. So now we have to wait for the straight people to wake up.

Plenty of straight women have been woken up to this for years. Just look at web forums like Mumsnet where women have been peaking in their hundreds, even thousands, every year. Women together in a space for talking about what affects them as women, as mothers and their children can't help but be aware of what's going on and helping each other fight back. It's why TRAs routinely go after Mumsnet and why there is such a concerted effort to dismiss older women trying to stand up for themselves and their kids as "Karens."

I'd say that the timeline of groups being peaked and starting to push back has been lesbians first, then older straight women, (bisexual women somewhere in between) and now gay men.

Good for straight women for waking up.

A lot of straight men have always known that you can’t change your sex, but they have not yet been affected by the TRA ideology so they assumed this was a problem only affecting gay people. But a lot of these straight men are dealing with their children wanting to be trans because of teachers and media poisoning their minds. They’re starting to fight this ideology too. But TRAs dismiss them as "typical cis straight men", until gay men, straight women, bisexuals and lesbians start speaking up.

Agreed. I've started to talk to some of my straight friends about trans-caused homophobia, with some surprisingly good results! Just commented about one of them in today's Sunday thread, actually.

"We included transmen from the start,as long as they had top surgery".

That was your fatal error. You thought this would be enough.TRAs will never be satisfied until they totally dominate and subdue you. Enjoy the titfest.

Never give these people an inch.

I just seriously fucking hate these people. Like I cannot dislike them any more. I would not frown if they met a horrific end.
If they were mauled to death by a wild animal, I would spend the rest of my life saying said animal is my spirit animal.
I mean it, I absolutely fucking loathe them.

Same here. I do make an effort to make a distinction between decent trans people and the TRAs though.I would not wish any kind of harm to Blair White for example . But to the obnoxious fucks who try to erase the importance of biological sex ? I wish every kind of harm.

[–]PenseePansyBio-Sex or Bust 16 insightful - 1 fun16 insightful - 0 fun17 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

I've come to the conclusion (clarified for me by the ongoing debate I am now having on The Glinner Update) that this isn't a matter of decent trans people vs obnoxious trans people. Much as I loathe the latter and can feel sympathy for the former.

Because the real problem isn't individuals at all.

It's the ideology itself.

Ultimately, transgenderism holds that biological sex must give way to gender. And gender is the source of both women's status as inferior, and the stigmatization of same-sex attraction.

So, regardless of how nice the person espousing it is, how genuinely troubled they are by their own sex, or whether they'd ever dream of taking this ideology to its logical conclusion... I'm going to oppose transgenderism on principle. Because it is fundamentally poison.

As long as people with dysphoria don't go this route, they have my every sympathy, and I will support them.

But not when they choose to deal with this problem by fucking poisoning everybody else.

This is exactly it. Picking out individuals is pointless. If they all share the same ideology, that biological sex is to be erased and replaced with gender identity, which in turn wouldn't exist without the harmful expectations imposed upon women, then target the ideology. You can at least hold a debate that way.

Completely agree. I have this attitude with most other belief systems, as well. I think that an individual can be a kind, thoughtful, caring person and still subscribe to Christianity, but Christianity will still be toxic regardless. Likewise, I think an individual could believe in gender identity and still be a kind, thoughtful, caring person. But gender identity, as a concept, is still fundamentally homophobic.

The kind, caring individual participants in any belief system nonetheless enable the belief system to spread and harm more people.

I don't even necessarily mean 'trans' people, of which I doubt very many of these 'TRA's actually are...it's just this pseudo-science, full-crazy gender spectrum crowd. The same ones that want to sexualize children, the same ones that try to legitimize sex work...I mean at this point they have more-or-less fully engulfed what was once the Liberal side of politics pushing us sane people out until we lie in uncomfortable orbit with Conservatives and...I just wish ill will upon them every time I think something like 'Hrm, Alex Jones has a point' or unironically agree with someone who uses the word 'God' as a noun and not a verb.

The tweet had been deleted, may I suggest posts be archived, like from nitter or just archive?

Yeah, it's important to archive stuff. I try to post an archive.is link in the comments of every post I make, but sometimes I forget.

Looks like someone saved this one on Wayback? https://web.archive.org/web/20220406221356/https://twitter.com/BearPartyNYC/status/1511825103536930822

I do not get the straight women who do this. Does any gay man have experience encountering these women in gay men's spaces?

I can't imagine any woman would enjoy the experience, regardless how they identify.

I understand what straight men are getting out of accessing women's identities and spaces, I just don't get this.

[–]CaptainMooseEx-Bathhouse Employee 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Worked at a bathhouse until COVID hit. Right before, we were dealing with harassment campaigns from these types of women and their white knights. They largely do not give a fuck about gay men's experiences of sexual violence from women and why male-only spaces are important to us. They don't care that seeing a woman's naked body (in a non-medical context) is experienced as a form of sexual misconduct.

To me, the only real difference between them and the average straight girl who starts dry humping gay men in our bars is that these girls are on steroids. They aren't the girls who would have been emo kids a generation ago- they are the girls that would have had their first heterosexual experiences with closeted gay men (first kiss, prom, etc.). They get off to men who don't consent to them.
