…is that even a thing? Because all the gay guys I know irl like the basic triangle man shape.

Not really, but it's common that gay guys just assume having feminine features will attract an ultra masculine man, (because masculine = hetero right 🤪) and end up looking like that and wondering why nobody wants them.

OK. Whatever. I still prefer man-shaped bodies.

Is this for his scarlett o'hara cosplay?

He simply has to make eighteen and a half inches again!

"Anyone else feel affirmed by this". I can't believe they don't realize that's just a effeminate twink-ish guy looking for a hyper masc top, and not the general appearance the majority of gay men are actually looking for in partners.

They claim to be just the same as us, yet posts like this hilariously expose them as the charlatans they truly are.

Hard for me to take any of that seriously, lol. Both of those are just performances. The former for online attention (I assume, I don't know if the male hourglass is actually popular in the dating scene), the latter for... his father's approval, idk?

Well, I guess that they are just the same as you in ONE way: THEY aren't attracted to feminine physical features (like, say, an hourglass figure), either. Because if they were, then they'd leave you guys alone-- instead of whining endlessly about your sexual disinterest-- and just date each other. But, being straight chicks, of course they want what YOU want... and what you've got. And they so conspicuously lack. Namely male physical features.

I mean, I really like an hourglass figure, myself... but in women. Definitely doesn't do it for me in a guy. My ideal there, physique-wise, would be the "swimmer's body": well-toned and well-defined musculature without being either bulky or like an anatomy chart; triangle shape (wide shoulders, slim waist and hips); svelte and sleek... even those of us who are attracted to both sexes want femaleness in a woman, and maleness in a man. As, re: the latter, do these insufferable women-with-dudefeelz. So why won't they extend gay men the same courtesy?

Have you heard of uncanny valley? The uncanny valley is a term used to describe the relationship between the human-like appearance of a robotic object and the emotional response it evokes. In this phenomenon, people feel a sense of unease or even revulsion in response to humanoid robots that are highly realistic.

This is how I feel about FTM's. Even the most affluent and 'passing' ones leave me with revulsion, uneasiness that my brain screams "there is something wrong with this". Considering even babies can identify people by sex, getting affirmation from gay people having unhealthy beauty standards is not only super-creepy, its also stupid. Because even the most feminine of men, is still a man. I have never felt the same uncanny valley I felt with FTM's with them.

I wish they understood that men don't have fat on their bums, and women have fat (very simplifying for convenience). Our biology is so different that even if they achieved the perfect 'passing' shape, it would still look different.

I call it mixed-sex characteristics. I'd assume most people who are attracted to men would prefer them without breast implants, for example.

The uncanny valley is what I thought of looking at this person too. Like an employee at the android factory fell asleep during the production process.

I think that person was just looking for online attention, but whatever. Most gay men do gym training, not corset training.
