Good for him for not playing her game. I hope he leaves her. Trying to force him to redefine his sexual orientation is a massive red flag and he should get the fuck out as soon as possible.

If I were the husband, I would have left the moment she spouted the words "I'm a man" out of her mouth. I can forgive and deal with many things in relationships, all but delusional. Can't deal with delusional and it just turns me off forever.

I'm going through their post history and what the fuck is all this? What the fuck is a "dysphoria hoodie"? Why have we let a generation of adults get to the point where the colour of their clothing will cause them to have a full on panic attack?

This is the way. A therapist once told me that when you're dealing with a crazy person it's vital that you not participate in the delusion.

He should continue going about his life acknowledging reality. There's no reason why he should indulge her delusions. If that's a problem for her, then she can file for divorce. I hope she realizes that if she leaves him to transition to being gay transman, she's probably walking away from the last man she'll ever have sex with.

You describe him as "super super straight" -- so then, there's a problem of dissociation there. He's a super super straight man, so he would only be with a woman. You are not a woman. So something's gotta give .... He finds out he's not actually super straight and would stay with a man in a romantic context.

Husband though, regularly refers to me as “woman”, “girl”, and uses she/her pronouns with what feels like more emphasis than he used to.

This would be funny... if he wasn't already married to her 😐

Based and true. I read something yesterday how a "gay woman" or lesbian is married to a trans man, yet she is not bisexual. I am not sure if this was a case of a lesbian GF deciding to transition or identify as a man until after marriage, but I wouldn't be surprised if this happened? Maybe the trans man figures "if I identify as a man/male" my wife and I will be more accepted as heterosexual rather than a lesbian/same sex married couple? I know a transwoman who transitioned partially just took hormones never had a full sex change operation, and had legal documents changed from Male to Female, and then married her boyfriend long before same sex marriage was ever legal anywhere.
