I am personally of the opinion that children deserve safe, supervised, distanced contact with topics of sexual health, including BDSM

The internet was a mistake.

safe

BDSM

Going to need them to pick one or the other. I think I know which one wins out in the end.

The one that leads to this:

It's just baffling how these people can go from "let's teach kids about consent to protect them" to "let's teach kids about fisting and nipple clamps" in the same breath. It's almost as if they have ulterior motives...

They do. Or at least they are useful idiots for people with ulterior motives.

I hate that this is true.

It's more than that, heterosexual sex in general is inherently harmful in part (but only in part, there's more reasons too) because of the strength gap, if I had my way it'd be outlawed alongside the rough sex murder defense for the horribly dangerous backwards practice that it is. And so I don't get banished as a lunatic for saying so, I'm not saying this as a radical feminist, I mostly find radical feminists to be quite miserable people. Rather, I'm simply stating my understanding of the world as a bisexual woman in a very happy and supportive long-distance relationship with a man.

Ummm, I'm not comfortable with any sex act between two consenting adults being regulated or outlawed. Those types of laws are always weaponized against same-sex attracted people in the end.

Also how would we outlaw hetero sex.... that becomes basically a forced eugenics movement on a massive scale??

I'm not saying this as a radical feminist, I mostly find radical feminists to be quite miserable people.

I'm a rad fem but I do notice many of the bisexual/heterosexual ones with a history of surviving male violence/abuse can veer from legit talk of female seperatism and safe spaces into this weird "all men are evil trash/kill all men/het sex is evil and abusive ALWAYS" vibe and tbh that's what your comment sounds like. I don't want female-only spaces because I hate men or heterosexuality, I want female-only spaces because I love women and women and girls deserve spaces away from male violence.

I've never been abused by a man (though I have been psychologically abused by my mother when I was growing up), and I don't hate men. I just from observation on an intellectual level don't believe that something with such a great degree of power imbalance, nor something so inherently harmful, can be consented to.

I honestly can't tell if you're joking...

Yep. I'm now convinced that all that PatsyStone was saying all these days is absolutely true, this site has definitely too many trolls. Some of them are obvious like that homophobic MuskRat guy, and some of them are subtle like Jay-Day and you.

Oh well, it has been a short experience being here but this place has definitely went to shit lol

I'm not a troll, you just don't like what I'm saying. Which is understandable, it's quite a departure from what is typically heard in mainstream society and I admit that myself. But I'm not trying to sow dissent amongst anyone, only to speak my mind.

Buddy, it's not as simple as "you don't like what I'm saying" you literally said that you want to ban hetero sex lmfao. If this wasn't r/LGBdropthet, everybody would think you're trolling and I still think you are mostly because this is not the first time you posted shit like this, you already did it a few times before and people called you out on it.

You're either some kind of a delusional weirdo (which fits your username) or you are a troll.

[–]CleverFoolOfEarth 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Weirdo, I will freely admit, but I don't think I'm delusional though I could be wrong about that, and I know for a fact I'm not a troll in the slightest.

I'm not trying to be rude, but you definitely seem like you've drank some Kool-Aid. Heterosexuality is perfectly healthy. Men may be stronger than women on average, but assuming that all men are abusers-in-waiting is just sexism.

Ah yes, because I can't talk about being proud to love a boyfriend without going all in on showing everyone all the details of exactly how we love each other. I hate people

[–]IridescentAnacondastrictly dickly 8 insightful - 1 fun8 insightful - 0 fun9 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Agreed. People don't need to know what my husband and I do in bed together. They just need to know that we are committed life partners.

They want to promote public indecency. I don’t want anybody displaying their genitals or their kinks in public, or in front of children. I don’t want a straight person doing it, a bisexual person doing it, or a gay person doing it. That means nobody doing it.

I don’t know if it’s a case of Redditors - especially Redditors on r LGBT - being vindictive. Or a case of them genuinely being stupid, empty-headed. Maybe it’s both. This is exactly why Hungary and Russia have implemented legislation banning the promotion of homosexuality in children’s media and in education. And guess what? I don’t blame those countries.

I’m all for dropping the T. Let’s be honest with ourselves: we have our own charlatans within the actual three letters.

[–][deleted] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

I don't understand why these people can't just throw a private party, instead of doing this stuff in public. Have a family-friendly parade, and when that's over all the consenting adults can go to a private venue and do as much depraved shit as they want.

The only reason I can think of for displaying kinks in public is if you're an exhibitionist. Exhibitionism is a sex act, sex acts without consent are sexual assaults. And if an exhibitionist is involving children in their sex act... that's pedophilia.

We shouldn't hesitate to call these people out.
