This is a quite common problem in straight relationships. The genderwoowoo about dysphoria is... well just that. I get the dude not wanting a vasectomy but at the same time refusing condoms and putting it all on her is a dickmove. Hormonal contraceptives can be a bitch and worse. TMI but after ten years of trying several hormonal contraceptives, it was decided I best not try it anymore and go for copper and/or condoms.

However, I wonder whether they really had an adult conversation. Enough straight blokes think the pill works against STDs so yeah...

Anyway, this is spicy straight galore.

It says a lot about the state of LGB rights that communities labeled "gay" or "lesbian" are all about opposite-sex relationship issues... talk about homosexuality erasure.

However, I wonder whether they really had an adult conversation. Enough straight blokes think the pill works against STDs so yeah...

Lol how would that even work?? Do they think the pill is like a wonder drug that protects you from a vast array of diseases? Even if that were the case, wouldn't the woman still be able to transmit it to him even if she had no symptoms? I have so many questions...

Never underestimate the stupidity of horny people. Or lack of knowledge. Or the thought they can't get a std because they are from a good family and have a degree.

Anyway, I know that some people don't have a clue how nasty the side effects of hormonal contraceptives can be. I am aware of the phrase "not my job to educate you!" but sometimes you really do need to tell people

You mean to tell me the pill doesn't generate a vagina forcefield!?

Hell yeah it does! It creates a shield emanating from the vagina just like these guys have!

So I’ve been with my current partner for about 5 years, before I realized I was trans and everything. It’s always been on me to have the birth control method in the relationship, so I’ve been on the pill for like 4.5 years! Anyways, I recently got off it and realized how my dysphoria it was giving me (reminded me everyday I have parts I don’t want and bad side affects)

Having PIV did not remind her of having parts she didn't want, but taking the pill did? This is either a troll or a very confused young lady.

It always boggles my mind how these people are so fine with their parts... until some weird artificial reasons show up. Shouldn't you be dysphoric all the time about your parts especially during sex or while pregnant?

Yeah if she is SO gay she should just use the back hole 🤣 that's how they think it works anyway.

A genuine question. Why is this here? This is not about transgenders being shitty, weird, okay but every post about them is weird so I don't understand why this is here besides bullying innocent people. She's just venting.

Because it's an example of "colonization" (the flair isn't added yet to the post, I see). It's an example of a straight person who is playing "gayface" and who is contributing to LGB erasure. I think it definitely belongs on this sub-- although I tend to prefer other types of posts myself, such as discussion ones.

edit: To be more clear: it's straight people using a "gay" space to talk about straight issues. After these same people supported kicking actual homosexual men off of Reddit (AGB, for example). LGBDroptheT is absolutely the place for this type of content; it's an example of straight people taking over LGB spaces and spreading misinformation about us.

She IS delusional though. She posted her story online and discussion about it doesn't mean we are bullying her. We are "just venting" too.

It's straight people larping as LGB people because of adopting the T identity.
