I guess all these brands will have to revert back to using ordinary non stunning and brave biological women to sell their female products to women.

"Like cops, corporations are not always welcome at Pride, which honors the anniversary of the Stonewall riots, an uprising against police violence led by Black trans women"

Annnd once again, after reading that bit of false news, I feel absolutely no guilt whatsoever clicking away from The Guardian without having donated any money to their sorry begging asses. Never have, never will.

Reading this, the framing of the issue is the thing that needs critical examination. This article is not about civil rights; it's about whether or not "influencers" are making as much money off Pride as they'd like.

The first Gay Pride march was about civil rights, not about whether or not someone in clown/bimbo makeup is raking in enough cash.

" I’m very selective of who I work with, and I need to know that a company is doing good in the world, not just profiting off of us.”

Yeah right, have you ever turned down money?

These are the folx who want us to believe that capitalism is EVIL.

yeah take a product who's resources are farmed by slave labor in Africa, ship it to China for company drones to manufacture for low pay, then slap a rainbow and a transwoman's face on it and they love it.

Since Pride has become so very profit-motivated, this actually sounds like the beginning of the end; A welcome development.

The LGB people here can all aggre... why would you use pride in your product? Isn't LGBTQ+ like < 5% of the population? Why would a straight guy buy a product with gay men advert?
