More people moved out of abject poverty and food insecurity in the last half of the 20th century than at any other time in human history. At no point in human history, under no other economic system, has life expectancy been higher and infant and maternal mortality been lower. We are living under the best conditions that humans have ever lived under, and although capitalism is not perfect (hence mixed economies existing in most western countries) it is far superior to any other system yet tried.

It's extra fucking stupid because it's not like communism in practice gives a shit about carbon emissions environmental concerns or anything of the like. You do have a group of party loyalists controlling the countries wealth instead of a group of billionaires. Wow! So enlightened.

Unrestrained growth is the problem, we're like an invasive species that's starting to overrun the local environment, perpetuating a die-off. Capitalism is a great system for growth and prosperity, but it's too much of a good thing. We need to artificially restrain our growth to be in equilibrium with our environment, it's the only way.

This idiot armchair socialist doesn't understand that the worst atrocities in the last century were perpetrated by the alleged socialists, and communists.

Atrocities that these socialist governments committed against the helpless populations they "governed". Tens of millions of people in both China and the USSR.

Governments who were financed by banksters, who are the elder relatives of today's elite billionaires.

You're not supposed to talk about those guys.

Capitalist govts are far from innocent to and have done their share of atrocities, at the behest of the same billionaires.

Fortunately, we live in an era of near real-time information.
This clown has surely taken enough inoculations to self-euthanize.
