In fairness to Jimmy, he's more of a centrist than a lefty. He has been ever since he left TYT (in fact, that was why he left).

Not really.

The "Left" used to be a spectrum, much like the "Right". The CIA infiltrated Corporate SJW Shillary Totalitarian Left overtook the entire party. Dennis Kucinich was the last of the old-school sensible progressive left, of which Jimmy is a part of. Bernie is basically a fence rider pretending to be progressive when really he's half, if not more, SJW Left. Similarly most of the so-called progressives, such as AOC, are profoundly infected by the Corporate Left mentality on most issues.

The old left was strangled out of existence by the impostor extremists serving big money.

Because Jimmy seems sensible he seems centrist, but really he hasn't changed (nor I), so much as the goal posts have been moved.
