Shelter in place is not real solutions to a virus. All it does is buy time for the legislators to implement the solutions. The reality is that sooner or later people have to go out. Our government has failed to implement anything that will actually deal with the issue of spreading viruses. Per the World Health Organization, the most common and effective strategy for fighting disease are hand washing stations. Getting hand washing stations set up at all public transit stop and outside businesses should have been their first priority. Since this virus appears to transmit most via re-circulated air, lawmakers should also be upgrading ventilation systems on public transit and in public buildings.
