Kind of a weird way of phrasing it. Rather than saying "he isn't insightgul voting his own comments" i think it makes a bit more sense to say that "he is un-upvoting himself after every comment". Idk, it's just your way implies the rest of us are upvoting our own comments but as you said it's just how it is by default.

    I think about a line-item veto, but then it may remove items that are contingent on another and make some parts useless or even counter-productive. This may also be good in that Congress would stick to the main goal of the legislation instead of packing it with all of the pork.

    On another comment about AOC voting for this bill after speaking out against it; I remember Ron Paul voting against bills even after inserting his own project funding into them because he knew they would still pass.
