Yes, Trump is fundamentally more aligned with his "enemies" than against them. As Orwell noted in Animal Farm, the Pigs may squabble among themselves, and even come to blows, because they do in fact hate each other (well to be fair, they hate everyone, including themselves), but at the end of the day, making sure the Pigs come out on top of the other animals will always remain their first priority, sometimes sub-consciously, other times overtly. Well, Trump made alot of questionable decisions in 2020 that have put him in a very tight spot. Was he deliberately sabotaging himself, or was he just being foolish? That isn't clear yet.
