Commie China is too obsessed with getting its little island back, instead of enjoying the economic benefits of having many Taiwan companies manufacture their stuff on the mainland. Invasion will lead to severly reduced productivity and (ideally) loss of maninland China's manufacturing prowess, as factories shut down and are moves to less insanely aggressive countries.
