Both the Russians and united states had larger armies alone than Italy and Germany combined. Russia won because of the numbers game. If Russia kicked Germany's ass why did the Russian military have more than double the casualties than the Germans? Plus it's worth noting most casualties from the germans were from the REAL DEATH CAMPS that the allies were in control of.

Poor leadership, again, at the end of the day Germany got its ass kicked. Half of Germany ended up in Russian control for over 40 years. That's how bad Germany got its ass kicked in World War II. Germany was in no position to even attempt to fight to regain control of its land. Germany did not want to get its ass kicked again.

There was no need to invade Ukraine while Trump could do so much for Putin. Invading Ukraine while Trump was in office would have squanded all of the benefits of influencing elections that got him there in the first place, attempts to get him and others to pull the US from NATO, special treatment of billionnaires trading with the US, the massive flow of money to politicians and Trump in money-laundered arrangements meant to lift certain sanctions, Trump killing the trade of US soybeans and other crops so that Russia could trade those with China, and of course a hell of a lot of butt licking by Trump and Fox News of Putin on a regular basis. He served Russia much more than he served the US. Why? Russian billionnaires bailed out Trump's $400 million Deutsch Bank debt, and continued money launding with the Trump crime family. He made millions from them. Had Putin invaded at that time, discussions of more sanctions would have developed in the Senate and House and Trump's usefulness would have diminished.
